Highlights of 2009

Highlights of 2009 (pdf), the narrative section of the SEC Historical Society's 2009 Annual Report, is now published.

This issue of Highlights looks back at the first ten years in the history of the SEC Historical Society, from its founding in 1999, to the opening of the virtual museum and archive in 2002, to the Society’s commemoration of the SEC's 75th anniversary from 2007 to 2009.  It also looks ahead to the start of the Society’s second decade with upcoming events this year.

The report recognizes institution donors to the Society in 2009, and members of the 2009-10 Board of Trustees and the 2009-10 Board of Advisors.

Within the print version of Highlights is the panoramic photo(pdf) taken of guests at the Society's June 25th celebration dinner honoring the SEC's 75th anniversary. The digital copy of the photo can be accessed separately from Highlights.

Current donors to the SEC Historical Society will receive Highlights of 2009 by mail this month.

The Securities and Exchange Commission Historical Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, shares, preserves and advances knowledge of the history of financial regulation.
