Richard B. Nesson, a founding partner of Luness Partners LLC, is the 10th President of the Securities and Exchange Commission Historical Society.
Mr. Nesson was elected to the Society's Board of Trustees in 2007, and previously served as Secretary and President-Elect. He has been a member of the Museum Committee and the Nominating and Governance Committee.
A corporate and securities lawyer, he is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Michigan Law School. He previously served as General Counsel of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, as General Counsel of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, and in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Division of Corporation Finance.
