Remembering Eric Summergrad

The Fireside Chat on the SEC Office of the General Counsel remembers Eric Summergrad, a former SEC Deputy Solicitor, who died September 11, 2007. The SEC Historical Society thanks members of the Summergrad family for contributing to sponsor the Fireside Chat in Eric’s memory, and for sharing materials by and about Eric for inclusion in the museum collections, including:
July 10, 1997 – Letter from Eric Summergrad to Milton V. Freeman
Mr. Summergrad was awarded the SEC’s Philip A. Loomis, Jr. Award in 1995. He was closely involved in two significant insider trading cases: Dirks v. SEC (1983) and United States v. O'Hagan (1997) (see "Fair To All People" gallery).
